Sustainable, Creative, Resourceful, Artful Play = SCRAP
This summer, it’s your turn to play. Studio SCRAP is an adults-only, hands-on creative experience that blends casual instruction with open studio time in a series of three workshops. Each session starts with a short demonstration of selected materials, a technique or prompt to get your ideas flowing, then you're free to experiment, make, and connect at your own pace in a relaxed, social, and judgment-free space.
This series is Textiles & Threads (July 18, 25 · August 8) Fridays 6-8pm
From fabric scraps to fiber art, explore playful ways to transform textiles—braid, weave, stitch, wrap or stuff - using colorful remnants and your imagination. Whether you're creating a wall hanging, soft sculpture, or simply enjoying experimenting with the materials, you'll discover the endless possibilities of creative reuse. Three (two hour) sessions, taught by local Artist Pam Tatti.
No experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to try something new. Over three sessions, dive deep into one project, enjoy watching it evolve week by week, and leave with a creation you love—and can continue to expand at home.
All materials are provided, but you’re welcome to bring any personal supplies you'd like to incorporate. BYO drinks, snacks, or dinner to make it your own creative night out!
$75 for series of three workshops (no prorating)
Advanced registration is required, registration closes the Thursday, July 17 at 12pm.
