Astronomical Society September Meeting

Mauricio Moreno will present: A discussion on the experience of horizons in our terrestrial lives and how the discovery of horizons in the space has impacted cosmology.

*We will be in the STEM building across from the science center. *

Mauricio Moreno, a life-long Florida resident, received a BFA in Computer Animation at UCF in 2008 and is currently a planetarian and STEM educator at the Cox Science Center and Aquarium. Despite his studies of the digital arts, he has always had a passion for astronomy and has enjoyed giving views of the cosmos to thousands of people during outreach efforts through CFAS (Central Florida Astronomy Society) and ASPB.
