Why We Are Walking ...
Suicide and mental health challenges affect millions of people each year. Education and awareness are key in preventing these issues and providing support to those in need.
By creating and sharing accessible educational resources, we aim to:
Raise Awareness: Educate people about the signs of mental health struggles and the importance of seeking help,
Provide Support: Offer guidance and resources to individuals who may be experiencing mental health crises, and
Foster Understanding: Promote conversations that reduce stigma and encourage supportive environments.
But we need to raise much needed funds to do all of these things, so let's Stomp The Path for Suicide Awareness!
Why are we walking for 9 hours?
An average of 9 people die by suicide in Australia each day!
So, we are going to walk an hour for every life lost every day, to suicide. Please join us.
