🟠Tanssiteatteri Minimin taiteellinen johtaja ja koreografi Taneli Törmä on inspiroitunut ihmisten välisestä yhteydestä, kosketuksesta ja suhteista.
Orange on tanssiesitys, joka on suunnattu kaikille, mutta erityisesti 3–9-vuotiaille lapsille ja heidän aikuisilleen.
Esitys on saanut inspiraationsa Reidar Särestöniemen maalauksesta Kielto ja Kaipaus (1967). Maalauksessa nähdään kaksi karhua halaamassa oranssilla pellolla. Teos on leikkisä ja välittävä – oranssi väri voi symboloida jaettua yhteyttä, ymmärrystä ja toisen kunnioittamista.
Esityksen valmistelu aloitettiin Hiljaisuus-residenssissä Kaukosen kylässä elokuussa 2024, ja teos saa ensi-iltansa Särestöniemi-museossa elokuussa 2025. Esitys on osa Reidar100-juhlavuoden ohjelmistoa.

🟠Taneli Törmä, artistic director and choreographer of Dance Theatre Minimi, has been inspired by human connection, touch, and relationships.
Orange is a dance performance created for everyone, but especially for children aged 3 to 9 and their adults.
The performance draws inspiration from Reidar Särestöniemi’s painting Kielto ja Kaipaus (1967). The painting depicts two bears embracing in an orange field. The work is playful and caring – the color orange can symbolize shared connection, understanding, and mutual respect.
The creation of the performance began at the Silence Residency in the village of Kaukonen in August 2024, and the premiere will take place at the Särestöniemi Museum in August 2025. The performance is part of the Reidar100 anniversary program.
