Just a quick note: We aren’t trained teachers – we are facilitators who provide a calm, safe environment for children to learn and socialise together. We welcome all children and do not discriminate based on diagnosis. However, we aren’t able to provide 1:1 behavioural support at this time, so children attending should be comfortable in a group setting with minimal individual supervision.

❓ FAQs

1. Why do you only accept children aged 8 and over?
Our sessions are designed for children who can manage some independence in a group setting. As we are not Ofsted-registered childcare, we can only facilitate sessions for children aged 8+.

2. Are you trained teachers?
No – we’re home-educating parents and facilitators. Our role is to create a calm, safe space where children can bring their own learning, socialise, and explore together.

3. Do children need to bring work with them?
Not for all sessions. Some are social and play-based, while others (like co-learning or study groups) are designed for children to bring along work set by parents.

4. Can parents stay?
Yes, parents are always welcome to stay, especially if a child is settling in. However, most of our sessions are designed as drop-off provision.

5. Do you provide 1:1 support?
We cannot offer 1:1 behavioural or learning support. Children attending should be able to manage in a group setting with minimal supervision.

6. Is food provided?
No – please send children with their own snacks and drinks (nut-free).

7. Who runs the sessions?
All sessions are run by home-educating parents. We are DBS checked, safeguarding trained, insured with Markel, and hold paediatric first aid training.

8. How do I book and pay?
You can book through Eventbrite or contact us directly to arrange payment via email and BACS.

9. What happens in a typical session?
Depending on the level, sessions might include social play (board games, Lego, colouring), quiet time, or co-learning. We keep things calm, friendly, and semi-structured.

10. Is this right for my child?
If your child is comfortable in a group setting, enjoys calm activities, and is looking for a friendly place to learn or socialise, then yes – this is a great fit!
