About Your Instructor:
Wade Bauer has 17 years of experience teaching permaculture and agroforestry-based gardening classes in Hawaii. Through his company, Malama Aina Permaculture, he provides consultation and design services for edible landscaping.
The Location:
Over the past 12 years, Wade has transformed 3 acres of wild jungle into a highly productive homestead. Now, he is opening it up to share classes and tours filled with functional examples, insights, and techniques. The site includes over 100 cultivars of edible and useful plants that thrive in Hawai‘i—including the top fruits, vegetables, roots, spices, tea plants, culinary herbs, insectaries, and medicinals.
