The Shark Garden

The New Start Community Garden, home of the Shark Garden, is a nonprofit school, community, and botanical garden in Burein, Washington. We serve at-risk youth in the Highline School District as well as our local community. We have 75 rental p-patch plots, a half acre school garden that grows food for the White Center Food Bank, and an extensive botanical garden that focuses on edible landscaping, drought tolerant plants, and gardening for wildlife and pollinators.
