Women In Environment (WIE) was started in 2009 in Portland, Oregon, and expanded to Seattle, Washington, in 2010, and the San Francisco/Bay Area in 2016 with a focus on supporting environmental professionals based in the Pacific Northwest.
Our Mission:
WIE’s mission is to further professional development and opportunities for women in the environmental field. WIE fosters relationships, mutual respect, and diversity among environmental professionals through networking, education, and mentoring.
