Join Jo Schaper on October 16, as she presents an evening medley featuring science, history and poetry. "Springs Are More Than Puddles For Trout" discusses the large springs of the Salem Plateau--what they are, where the water comes from, their natural importance and human use from early days to the present. This illustrated talk will be punctuated by readings from "Jack's Fork Journal" and "Alley Spring Diversions," two of her poetry collections on the same geographic region. Suitable for age 12 and older.
