Jon Tracy Archambeau, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2024, in Ozark, Missouri, at the age of 67. Born on January 26, 1957, in Neenah, Wisconsin, Jon's life journey was marked by his unwavering kindness, a talent for fixing things, and a love for his family and the great outdoors.
A proud veteran, Jon devoted 20 years of service to the United States Navy, a tenure that not only showcased his patriotism but also his commitment to excellence and teamwork. His military career was a significant part of his identity, and the discipline and camaraderie he experienced shaped many of the values he held dear throughout his life. Upon retiring from the Navy, Jon returned in Ozark, Missouri, a place he always considered home and enjoyed many years of retirement.
A true family man, Jon's greatest joy was spending time with his beloved wife, Carol Archambeau, and their daughters, Tracy Archambeau and Kristy Haynes, who brought immense pride and happiness to his life. He was also a doting grandfather to Makayla Leppert, his "Doodlebug" and Chie Archambeau, his "Squirt". They brought endless joy to his life, and he never missed a chance to boast about their accomplishments or share their latest adventures with friends and family.
Those who knew Jon would describe him as loving, handy, and friendly. His ability to fix almost anything was legendary, and he was always the first to offer a helping hand to neighbors and friends. A true handyman, he could fix just about anything, from a leaky faucet to installing ceiling fans, often with little more than a smile and a roll of duct tape.
An avid outdoorsman, Jon found solace in fishing and hunting, pursuits that allowed him to connect with nature and find peace away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. These hobbies provided him not only with relaxation but also with opportunities to share his knowledge and passion with his family and friends.
Jon's legacy is one of love, service, and friendship. He lived his life with a generosity of spirit that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him. His presence will be deeply missed, but the memories he created will forever be treasured by his family and the many lives he touched.
