Blues icon, soul man, rock and roller, Robert Cray is one of American music’s most enduring and singular voices. Inspired early by the sounds of the 1960s, Cray built his career through decades of dedication, integrity, and unmistakable style, becoming a key figure in modern blues and soul.
Rising from the Pacific Northwest, Cray earned his reputation the hard way—touring relentlessly, refining his songwriting, and developing a guitar style and vocal delivery rooted in emotional truth.
