Summon your flock and descend into the shadows for Oxford's first-ever Crow Party!
Dress in black and bring trinkets to trade. This is a party, all murder, no mystery. A quirky and unique night inspired by crows, an idea straight from the darkest corners of the Internet. This is an evening to celebrate darkness, the macabre, and a bit of feathery fun.
The feathery festivities kick off with a trinket competition at 7pm, leave your trinkets in the nest, and after judgement the best trinket will win a prize. We recommend two trinkets per person: think shiny, pretty - what would a magpie or a crow enjoy?
Throughout the night you can then exchange and swap your trinket with others. There will also be a prize for the best dressed: think all black, feathers, leather, goth, emo, victoriana, steam punk. If it's dark, spooky, and you look like a crow raven or jackdaw you're on the right track. Dress to K*ll, or murder at least!
From 8pm there will be live music from the Kokroachez! The Kokroachez are a dynamic young alternative rock band who have established a strong following and reputation for high-energy kick-ass performances. They have the perfect angsty sound to flock and flap along to for our crow party.
So fly along with your murder, claws out, and ready to ruffle some feathers. Come for the peculiar, stay for the fun, leave nevermore.
