Open Practice

🌾Are you a woman who wants to try morris dancing, or an experienced dancer looking to join another side?🧵

Summertown Morris are opening our practices in October, so come and have a go! We dance Cotswold Morris dances from the Oxfordshire villages of Ascott-under-Wychwood, Ducklington and Wheatley. We welcome dancers who identify as female and are happy to dance in our kit, if you're a man looking to dance morris or want a mixed side we can recommend various other local sides to you instead!

Our practices are on Monday nights, 7:30-9pm, at Cherwell School (North Site), Marston Ferry Road, Oxford, OX2 7EE. Send us an email to let us know you’ll be along!

N.B. we are not looking for new musicians at this time, but can recommend local sides who are. 🪗
