Discover the Hidden World of Moths!
Join us for Moths in the Moonlight, a free community BioBlitz at the Oxford Civic Center lakeside (near the flagpoles). We'll use light-based setups and other props to attract moths, explore their incredible diversity, and record our observations using the iNaturalist app.
This event is part of the 2025 Parks for Pollinators BioBlitz at Oxford Parks and Recreation, and part of a nationwide initiative by the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) to promote pollinator awareness through local parks across the country!
🦋 All ages welcome — no experience necessary!
📱 Bring a smartphone with a camera if you can, and we encourage you to download the iNaturalist app ahead of time. Staff will be available on-site to help you get set up and answer any questions.
