About the event

Modelling the Undead: what can zombies teach us about public health?
Zombie 101: Compare types from fiction to explore how medicine models and solves real-world healthcare challenges.

About this Event

What defines a zombie? This event compares different zombie types from fictional universes to uncover how medical professionals understand real-world healthcare challenges, and how modelling helps tackle real-life, complex health issues. A light-hearted and interactive discussion will reveal surprising connections between gruesome zombie outbreaks and serious healthcare systems. No prior knowledge needed – just bring your curiosity!

Note: no zombies will be allowed in!
