About the event

Freedom in English History
Join us for a fascinating talk by David Starkey CBE on the subject of freedom in English history. Dr David Starkey is a historian who has recently taken up the torch for a restoration of the British constitution with the Popular Conservatives. He is the author of many books including The Reign of Henry VIII: Personalities and Politics, Rivals in Power: The Lives and Letters of the Great Tudor Dynasties and Magna Carta: The True Story Behind The Charter. In 2007 he was awarded a CBE for services to history. A Q&A will follow Dr Starkey's talk.
