UL School of Nursing (Owensboro) Peds Real-life Assessment Lab

Looking for volunteers for Peds assessment lab for our Fall 2025 third semester cohort!

This will take place on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 and will run from about 1145a-2:30p. It is at the University of Louisville Owensboro Extension (inside the ‘old’ hospital). Same as the past semesters, I will have toys, coloring books, etc for kids to play with AND take home with them for participating in this experience. 🤍

Ages I’m looking for include:
• newborn (0-30days)
• infant (30days - 12mos)
• toddler (12mos-2yrs)
• preschooler (3yrs- 5/6yrs)
• school age child (6yrs - 12yrs)

You would need to sign a consent so that my students can interact with your kiddos. You can stay for the entire time or just for an hour - completely up to you! Please send me a message or comment below if you’re interested! This is an invaluable learning experience for my students and we are so grateful to those that have done this with us previously!
