Sunset Rally & Downtown March: A Good Trouble Lives On Event

March from 7:30 PM - 8:00 PM downtown.

Sponsored by Indivisible Owensboro, NAACP Owensboro Branch, Loud Women of Daviess County, and the Coalition for an Inclusive Daviess County.

Good Trouble Lives On is a national day of nonviolent action to respond to the attacks posed on our voting, civil, and human rights by the Trump administration.

In Owensboro, our theme is Good Trouble from Sunrise and Sunset.

Our day of action will culminate with an evening "Sunset" rally in Smothers Park with speakers and sponsoring organizations in attendance, followed by a march downtown.

These events symbolize John Lewis’s legacy, the work that has been done, the wake of the civil rights era, and the Good Trouble we must take on into the darkness. The theme is "Get in Good Trouble: The Work Continues.”
