Celebrate the 43rd Owego Strawberry Festival with a 5K Run/Walk!
Thursday, June 19 at the Hickories Park, Owego
4:30 - Registration/Bib pick up
5:15 - Free Fun Run for kids! Parents must register their kids on Race day. Kids receive a race bib and a medal.
6:00 - 5K Run/Walk starts!
Participants receive a custom made Strawberry Festival 5K medal, unique every year!
Day of the race: Coming into the Hickories Park, please remember to drive slowly!
Free parking in the area before the bandstand. Caution: Kids may be running their Fun Run. Look for orange cones and volunteers to highlight the race, and help with safety.
Music and festivities start at 5:00.
Following the 5K Race, join us for more free music and fun at the Hickories bandstand. DJ, vendors and food trucks until 9:00.
More Strawberry Festival events will happen in the Village of Owego near the Courthouse:
Friday night, June 20th - starting at 5:00 pm, music, vendors, food and fireworks in the Village.
Saturday, June 21st - in the Village, the Strawberry Festival Parade starts at 9:30, vendors, food, entertainment all day!
