Warm, sweet, and completely gluten free—this hands-on baking class is all about mastering tender, bakery-style Cinnamon Breads without the gluten!
This morning's class is taught by Jamelah Kauffman. Jamelah's love for food began when she was very young baking alongside her grandmother and grew into a lifelong passion that became her career. As the former owner of a meal-prep company in Wichita, she found joy in helping others eat well with ease—a path that naturally expanded into catering, private chef work, and teaching culinary classes. Inspired by her daughter’s food allergies, she has reimagined how nourishing, allergen-friendly meals can taste and she has over a decade of experience creating flavorful, gluten-free meals and baked desserts. All rooted in her belief that food connects, heals, and brings people together.
In this cozy, skill-building session, guests will learn the secrets behind gluten-free yeast doughs and perfectly swirled batters while creating two irresistible treats from scratch. Students will make a Gluten-Free Cinnamon Twist Bread with Creamy Icing, learning how to work with psyllium gel–based doughs, properly knead and shape gluten-free enriched bread, and create a beautiful twisted loaf filled with buttery cinnamon sugar. They’ll also prepare a Gluten-Free Cinnamon Roll Coffee Cake, a soft, rich cake layered with cinnamon swirls and finished with a sweet vanilla glaze.
By the end of class, guests will enjoy warm samples and leave with the confidence to recreate these show-stopping cinnamon favorites at home—perfect for brunch, holidays, or anytime a cozy treat is calling.
