Join Ashish, Matt, Kamryn & Jacob for Kirtan at Darling Yoga on Saturday, August 9th for this donation-based community event!
Kirtan is a call-and-response style of chanting sacred names, sounds, and phrases, accompanied by musical instruments, intended to bring tranquility and peace into our lives.
If the soulful strum of 'yoga music' has ever tugged at you, kirtan could be your soul's response.
This practice embodies how yoga is for the spirit more than it is for the body. Sanskrit as a language is a healing language and the mantras we chant are merely tools for us to know our true nature of love a little bit better
No matter if you're new to this or if the chants are old friends, I'll be there to guide you. Stumble over a word? No sweat!
So come, let's sit, chant, and swing to the rhythm of our chants. You might find yourself swaying, feet tapping, body swaying to the beats or it could be an opportunity to take deeper dive in your practice.
Kirtan, calls us not just to sing but to feel, to pour our love into the echoes of the divine, surrendering to the beat of the universe. Emerging from centuries past, Kirtan is an ever-new, lively gathering that transcends time, welcoming different cultures and beliefs.
No passports, no dogma—just us and the music that binds.
Join in, let loose, and let's fill this space with the sounds of jubilation and community.
Cost: suggested $20 donation
