Care4U2 2025: Reclaiming Joy

Join us for a half-day experience designed to restore the light within those who give so much to others, and get 6 asynchronous CEU's at the same time!

CARE4U2 is a self-care conference designed specifically for mental health and helping professionals seeking to reconnect with joy and deepen their sense of purpose, presence, and renewal.

This year’s theme, Reclaiming Joy: Purpose, Presence, Renewal, invites you to reconnect to your body, your values, and the joy that sustains your work.

• "Laughter Lab" - Performance from a local KC Improv comedian followed by an info session on how to use humor with clients or in the work we do
• Explore joy your way through our “Choose Your Own Joy Adventure” activity stations
• Reflect, restore, and play through creative expression, movement, gratitude, and grounding
• Leave with a full heart, new tools, and a fresh sense of possibility

In addition to the in-person self-care activities, we are offering 6 asyncrhonous CEUs available before and after the event on the following topics:

• Ethical Dilemma of Secondary Trauma in Trauma Therapy (1 Ethics CEU)
• Safety in Session (1 Safety CEU)
• Diagnosis of Adjustment Disorders (1 Diagnosis CEU)
• Holding Space in a Divided World: Navigating Political Stress, Identity, and Ethical Practice (1 Ethics CEU)
• Culturally Responsive Suicide Prevention: Supporting BIPOC & LGBTQ+ Communities (1 Suicide Assessment/Intervention CEU)
• Neurodivergence in Adults: Reframing Pathology and Practicing with Compassion (1 Diagnosis CEU)
