Tervetuloa Kierikin kivikauden kylään muinaistulien loisteeseen!
Tule yöpymään omassa makuupussissasi kylän asumuksissa ja koe kesäisen yön ja roihuavan nuotion luoma mystinen tunnelma. Asumusten lavereilla ja lattiapaikoilla on nukkumatilaa yhteensä viidellekymmenelle hengelle, halutessaan voi nukkua myös ulkona tai omassa teltassa.
Yövyttäjäoppaat ovat kivikauden kylässä koko tapahtuman ajan. He mahdollistavat monenlaisten kivikauden taitojen oppimisen ja pitävät tarvittaessa tulta asumuksissa yön ylitse.
Kivikauden kylän huoltorakennuksella ovat yöpymisen aikana käytettävissä WC:t ja saatavilla on puhdasta vettä sekä sähköpistokkeita mobiililaitteiden lataamiseen. Kylässä on ruoanlaittomahdollisuus avotulella ja yöpyjien omilla retkikeittimillä.
Yöpymisen hinta on 30 euroa yli 12-vuotiailta ja 20 euroa 2–11-vuotiailta. Pääsymaksuun sisältyy myös sisäänpääsy Muinaiskeskuksen arkeologiseen näyttelyyn sekä Luontoretki kivikaudelle -näyttelyyn. Alle 15-vuotiaat pääsevät tapahtumaan vähintään 15 vuotta täyttäneen seurassa. Makuupussi, tyyny, tyynyliina, lakana sekä porontalja makuualustaksi on myös mahdollista vuokrata.

16.00 Tapahtuman avaus Muinaiskeskuksen auditoriossa, mahdollisuus katsoa Aurinkokivi-filmi ja tutustua tutustua Luontoretki kivikaudelle -näyttelyyn sekä arkeologiseen näyttelyyn
17.00 Opastettu kävely kivikauden kylään
17.30 Kylän ja aktiviteettien esittely
18.00 Majoittuminen, jonka jälkeen vapaata touhuilua
20.30 Kokon sytytys
24.00 Kylä hiljenee
Aamulla yöpymisen jälkeen klo 8 kylässä tarjolla pannukahvia
Tapahtuma päättyy klo 10. Heinäkuun tapahtuman jälkeen voi halutessaan jäädä vielä viettämään aikaa Kierikkiin, elokuun tapahtuman jälkeisenä päivänä Kierikki ei ole avoinna.

Tapahtumaan ei käy Museokortti tai Kaikukortti.

THE NIGHT OF ANCIENT LIGHTS IN THE STONE AGE VILLAGE
26th–27th of July 2025 & 30th–31st of August
Welcome to the Stone Age Village of Kierikki to overnight in the glow of campfire!
Come and spend the night in your own sleeping bag in the houses of the village and experience the mystical atmosphere created by a summer night and a flaming campfire. On the floors and benches of the houses there is sleeping space for a total of fifty people. If you wish you can also sleep outside or in your own tent.
The overnighting-guides will be in the Stone Age Village throughout the event. They make it possible to learn a wide range of Stone Age skills and, if the night is cold, keep the fire going in the dwellings through the night until the morning.
In the service building of the village there are modern toilets. Clean water and electric plugs for charging mobile devices are available too. The village has the possibility of cooking with an open fire and with the overnighters' own camping stoves.
The price of an overnight stay is 30 euros for over 12-year-olds and 20 euros for 2-11-year-olds. The entrance fee also includes entry to the Nature trip to Stone Age exhibition and archaeological exhibition of Centre of Ancient Times. Children under the age of 15 can attend the event in the company of a person at least 15 years of age. Own sleeping equipment is not necessary, because it is also possible to rent a sleeping bag, pillow, pillowcase and a warm reindeer fur pad for sleeping.
Program:
16.00 Opening of the event in the Centre of Ancient Times, possibility to watch the film Sunstone and to visit the Nature trip to Stone Age exhibition and the archaeological exhibition
17.00 Guided walk to the Stone Age village
17.30 Showing of the village and activities
18.00 Dealing the sleeping spaces, after that some free time to hang around the village and practise Stone Age skills
20.30 Lighting the bonfire
24.00 The village quiets down
In the morning, coffee cooked on open fire is offered in the village at 8 o'clock. The event ends at 10 am. After the July event, you can stay and spend some time at Kierikki if you wish. In 31st of August Kierikki is closed, and it is not possible to visit the Centre of Ancient Times of the ending of the event.

Museum card or Kaiku card are not accepted as an entrance ticket to this event.
