Tidepool Excursion - Otter Crest

Join us for a guided Tidepool Excursion at Otter Crest. Learn about the animals and seaweed that live along the Oregon Coast. Class meets in the parking lot of the Spyglass Restaurant and starts at 7am. We will spend 2.5 hours exploring with our guide. There are several flights of stairs down to the beach. We will walk approx. 1 mile round trip on mostly rocks and with some sand.

Please wear sturdy shoes that can get wet or boots. Rocks will be slippery.

If conditions are right, we could enter Devil's Punchbowl. This will involve stepping up and onto boulders. Please be aware of your abilities. This trip will be more strenuous than our other trips. Ages 8 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Pre-registration required. You MUST register through our registration link below, in person at the Recreation Center, or by calling 541 265 7783. We have a generous refund policy so people claiming they have tickets they can no longer use are most likely scammers.
