Join Annie for a session of yin and yoga Nidra to reconnect with yourself, and find deep healing true rest.
This is 90 minutes to slow down and reconnect with your Self, 90 minutes to balance out the very busy noisy world in which we live beginning with Yin Yoga, focusing on long-held, floor-based postures that gently stretch the connective tissues and invite stillness into both body and mind.
Yin yoga gently works with energy meridians, tendons, fascia, and ligaments. A meditative approach to yoga, its goals are awareness of inner silence, and bringing to light a universal, interconnecting quality. All movements are adapted to your needs.
Then transition into the meditative practice of Yoga Nidra, or “yogic sleep.” Lying down in a supported and comfortable way, you will be guided into a liminal state between wakefulness and sleep, encouraging profound rest, healing, clarity, and a sense of peace. Yoga Nidra can be a profound and insightful experience and at the very least a deeply refreshing rest. The Nidra will be accompanied in part with sound from the flute and shruti
