Note: it takes at least an hour to get out to the start of this ride at Otaki from Wellington.

Meet near 274-316 Waitohu Valley Rd, Otaki. (This is different from the normal quarry meeting place.) Travel across the roundabout heading north through Otaki. After the Railway overbridge take the second turn on the right into Waitohu Valley Rd. Continue down until you reach the intersection with Ringawhati Rd. (If you reach the quarry you've gone too far.)

This is where the ride ends after on of the longest downhills in the Wellington region!
