𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗸𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲́ 𝗵𝘂𝗱𝗯𝘆 • #𝗢𝗗𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 🔌
⌲ Letos se návštěvníci Minimaratonu mohou těšit na více než patnáct vystoupení na čtyřech scénách, každá z nich bude disponovat specifickým způsobem nazvučení – od keramického soundsystému Manky Lustigové po berlínský BUSS, optimalizovaný pro zvuky extrémních frekvencí. Na akci též vystoupí Kazuhisa Uchihashi, průkopník hry na podivuhodný nástroj daxophon, skladby pro 3D tiskárny představí Patrik Herman a Richard Grimm. Dílo Gerarda Lebika je věnováno odkazu loni zesnulého Philla Niblocka (jedná se o upomínku na Niblockovo první ostravské vystoupení v roce 2009 v původní VI. ústředně vysokých pecí ve Vítkovicích). Metody prvních průkopníků musique concrète evokuje produkce Jean-Philippa Grosse rozvíjející tradici experimentální elektroniky, definované od padesátých a šedesátých let v institucích typu pařížského centra Groupe de Recherches Musicales (GRM), a litevské zvukové umělkyně Augustė Vickunaitė pracující s několika kotoučovými magnetofony jako zdroji a nástroji kompozice. Přímočařejší sety nabídne berlínské duo Powerstanz nebo Ursula Sereghy. Po oficiální části bude následovat off program. V rámci Minimaratonu zazní mimořádný opus Nemiesta Miroslava Tótha. Na přání skladatele bude proveden v kryptických podzemních prostorách bývalé mlýnice na uhlí, které se stávají jedním z interpretů zvukových situací.
Minimaraton elektronické hudby je financován z rozpočtu
statutárního města Ostravy.

⌲ This year, visitors to the Minimarathon can look forward to more than fifteen performances across four stages, each of which will utilise a different form of amplification – from Manka Lustigová’s ceramic sound system to the Berlin-based BUSS, optimised for extreme frequencies. The event will also feature Kazuhisa Uchihashi, a pioneering player on the remarkable daxophone. Richard Grimm will introduce his pieces for 3D printers. Gerard Lebik’s new work is dedicated to the memory of Phill Niblock, who passed away last year; specifically, it recalls Niblock’s first concert in Ostrava in 2009, in the former sixth headquarters of the blast furnace in Vítkovice. The procedures of the pioneers of musique concrète are evoked by Jean-Phillippe Gross, who continues the tradition of experimental electronics defined since the 1950s and ’60s by institutions such as Groupe de Recherches Musicales (GRM) in Paris. Lithuanian sound artist Augustė Vickunaitė also develops this tradition, employing several reel-to-reel tape players as sources and tools for composition. More straightforward sets can be expected from the Berlin-based duo Powerstanz and Czech musician Ursula Sereghy. The official program will be followed by an off program. As part of the Minimarathon, Miroslav Tóth's remarkable opus Nemiesta will be performed. At the composer's request, it will take place in the cryptic underground spaces of a former coal mill, which will become one of the interpreters of the sonic situations.
