Westchester Collaborative Theater (GPS 21 Water St.)
23 Water Street, Ossining, United States
Beginning Friday, October 24 and running weekends through Sunday, November 2, Westchester Collaborative Theater (WCT) in Ossining, NY, will present Terror Tales, the theater group’s Halloween-themed 10-Minute Play Festival. The success of the program, launched last year, encouraged WCT to expand the event to span two weekends.
A group of seven original plays and monologues, ranging in tone from creepy and comic to macabre and poignant, written by WCT playwrights, will be performed by a large cast of company actors. WCT actor Dan Slavin (Scarborough) will reprise his widely lauded role from the inaugural festival to host the evening in true somber and scary Vampire-esque style. The event is the brainchild of WCT actor/writer/director/producer Lori M. Myers (Nanuet), author of Crawlspace, a collection of dark fiction and horror, who is co-producing in tandem with WCT Executive Director Alan Lutwin (Ossining). Terror Tales will be held at WCT’s black box performance space at 23 Water St. in Ossining, NY. Allison Schneider (New City) is the stage manager.
