The Overview Tour besøker 12 europeiske land etter utgivelsen av Steven Wilsons åttende soloalbum, «The Overview», som slippes tidlig i 2025. Det er en glede å annonsere at han gjester Oslo Konserthus fredag 2. mai!

Dette vil være Steven Wilsons første soloshow siden 2018, da han fulgte utgivelsen av 2017-albumet «To The Bone» med en turné på 145 datoer i 30 forskjellige land.

Steven Wilson: “I’m thrilled to be able to announce a Steven Wilson tour for 2025, my first for 7 years. The Overview Tour will be an audio-visual experience based around a forthcoming new release of the same name: a space themed album that features just two very long pieces. I’ll also be playing music from The Harmony Codex for the first time as well as songs from all of my previous records. I’m incredibly happy to be performing again with my inspirational solo band, and we have a lot of lost time to make up. I look forward to seeing you at what will be an epic evening!”

Steven Wilson er en stor suksess, samtidig alltid kompromissløs, og har vært en av Storbritannias mest konsekvent kreative artister de siste tretti årene. Musiker, produsent, lydinnovatør og sporadisk frontmann - Wilson har flyttet grensene mellom ekspansiv rockemusikk og visjonær elektronisk lyd. Hans syvende soloalbum - The Harmony Codex - ble gitt ut til universell anerkjennelse i 2023 etter den enormt vellykkede, uventede gjenforeningsturnéen med Porcupine Tree, bandet Wilson ledet fra midten av 90-tallet til deres pause i 2010. Wilsons de tre siste albumene (To The Bone, The Future Bites og The Harmony Codex) nådde alle topp 5 på de britiske albumlistene.
