Connecting Points is a gathering, created to strengthen the bonds between House Dance communities across the Nordic region. It’s a space to connect dancers, DJs, and lovers of House culture from different cities and countries, building bridges through our shared passion for music and movement.
Rooted in the legacy of Black, Latinx, and queer culture, house is more than a style—it’s a language of freedom, expression, and togetherness. This concept honors that legacy while creating space for the Nordic house scene to grow more connected. 💓
This event focuses on sharing movement, expression and skill through the art of battle. Served on underground, dope and quality house music. The battle format will be held in Cypher-style format, with a symbolic money prize of 1000 NOK.
On this specific occasion, we’re lucky to be collaborating with MUD Session, a concept deeply rooted in House music, dance and club culture within Oslo, Norway. The venue for the event will be provided by Jaeger Oslo, a mainstay for underground club culture within Oslo, Norway’s club scene. The event will take place in their basement, providing an intimate atmospheric space, with their one of a kind Funktion-One sound system. 🌊
With passionate DJs and open dance floors, Connecting Points welcomes all styles of dance regardless of level. Come as you are. Move how you feel.
