PRAXIS Artist Talk with Erlend Auestad Danielsen & Rina Rosenqvist

A dancing conversation is a performative dialogue between us, dance artists Rina Rosenqvist and Erlend Auestad Danielsen, where we try to trace our art practices through the years.

We ask each other questions. We answer them. We dance.

ERLEND AUESTAD DANIELSEN (f.1993) is a post graduate with a BA in Dance from The Oslo National Academy of the Arts in (2012-2015) and a one year diploma in creative writing from Skrivekunstakademiet i Hordaland ( 2022-2023). Erlend has worked as a dancer for choreographers and theater directors within projects of big variation of dance, theater and performance art. He is in the board and active member of Montebøllo Arts Collective in Oslo. His main interest as a dancer and writer is to participate, perform and create art that challenges the perception of reality and fantasy.


RINA ROSENQVIST is a Norwegian/Venezuelan dance artist based in Oslo. Holds a BA in dance from the University of Stavanger. She works as a dancer, choreographer and collaborator in projects that range from site-specific interactive performances; productions for stages/black box; workshops for refugees or kids and runs a residence/workplace for artists. Rina is one of the initiators of Montebøllo, an interdisciplinary workspace and meeting point for artists with various disciplines from the contemporary art field in Oslo. There she is artistic director together with Magdalene Solli. She was the guest curator for the PLATTFORM program at Black Box Theatre 2024.
