In this panel discussion, we’ll delve into an important and deeply personal topic: shame, k¡nk, and how we navigate our unique patterns of desire.
We’ll explore questions like:
- Why is it so difficult to talk about desires outside the norm?
- How does shame impact the way we experience, hide, or suppress our $e-xual desires?
- What does it take to break free from societal pressures that create shame around k¡nk?
- How can we create spaces, both within ourselves and the world, where we can embrace desire without fear or guilt?
Even within the k¡nk community, shame and stigma can run deep: around certain fetishes, what’s considered "acceptable," and how we see ourselves when stepping outside the norm. We’ll discuss how these layers of shame affect us and how to move toward greater acceptance, both personally and in our relationships.
