The vibrant crew from Afro Drums Workshop led by artists Bafana Nhlapo and Solo Diarra will showcase the artistry of African drumming, vocal techniques, and rhythmic movement.
After the showcase there will be a drum workshop for the kids.

Bafana Nhlapo (South Africa): Bafana is known for his unique industrial percussion style using household items—like his signature tin cups—Bafana combines his Zulu roots with funk, jazz, and rock, delivering a spiritual and modern sound. Singing mainly in isiZulu, his powerful falsetto captures emotions that transcend language.
Solo Diarra (Burkina Faso): A Griot, Solo comes from a family of traditional storytellers. Mastering instruments like the djembe, kora, n’goni, balafon, and guitar, he honors Griot traditions while blending them with contemporary afrobeat and Manding sounds. Solo’s performances are genuine and personal, often drawing from his life experiences to offer hope and strength through music.
