Step into the world of Shakespeare without fear in this immersive, one-day workshop designed to make the Bard accessible, exciting, and deeply rewarding. Whether you’ve never read a line of Shakespeare or you’ve performed his plays on stage, this workshop offers a fresh, practical approach to understanding and performing his work.
Run by Oslo English Players and guided by a seasoned instructor with both academic insight and performance experience, you’ll explore Shakespeare’s language through a combination of text analysis, vocal exercises, and movement. You’ll break down the barriers of verse and prose, uncovering the rhythm, imagery, and emotional depth embedded in his writing.
Through hands-on activities and collaborative scene work, you’ll gain:
🔹 Language and Text Skills – Learn practical tools for decoding Shakespeare’s words, navigating his rich vocabulary, and discovering the nuances of meaning, rhythm, and tone.
