Our first talk in the new series Nurturing Mental Health is happening on September 10th!🍁
Anxiety and depression often whisper the same message: “Something is off.”
For many, that “off” feeling is difficult to name and difficult to explore. For many, this «off» feeling comes from living a life shaped by others’ expectations instead of one rooted in their own truth.
Maybe you have felt like you’re playing a role in your own life, smiling, achieving, helping, yet deep down feeling empty or restless? Many living with depression and anxiety share this silent struggle: being disconnected from their authentic self.
In this group conversation we’ll combine psychoeducation on depression and anxiety with honest sharing. We will talk about how disconnection from your inner truth can fuel low mood and worry, and why self-worth often fades when we live at odds with ourselves.
We will be gathering as a small group of up to 20 people in an intimate and fertile space. We invite anyone who has been longing for a safe, intimate space to listen, ask, and feel less alone.
The evening will include both guiding questions and time for open sharing, with space for anyone to ask questions.
Together, we’ll explore:
- How depression and anxiety are linked to disconnection
- Why authenticity matters more than perfection
- Practical tools to notice, accept and realign with your core values - and how to explore them.
Host
Kine is a medical doctor, registered nurse, and cognitive behavioral therapist with lived experience of falling apart and slowly finding her way back. After years of postpartum depression and losing herself in others’ expectations, she made a radical choice: to stop performing and start living as her full neurodivergent self.
Through meditation, mindfulness, and deep inner work, she began returning home to herself. Today, she works with medication-assisted psychotherapy, combining clinical expertise with raw humanity. She doesn’t believe in quick fixes or forced positivity, but in real talk, honest connection, and creating spaces where people feel safe enough to stop pretending.
