Free guided tour of the Botanical Garden

Get to know the garden and its history. Learn about selected trees, flowers, and other plants.

The tour gives you an introduction to the history of Botanical Garden, its thematic gardens and some of the trees and flowers, focusing on what is at its most beautiful right now.

The Botanical Garden is a living museum that changes throughout the year, so you can come back many times and always see something new. We have Sunday tours every Sunday from July through September.

We also offer free tours in Norwegian every Sunday (from May through September).

The Sunday tours in the Botanical Garden are a collaboration between the Natural History Museum and the Friends of the Botanical Garden. The tour is led by skilled guides from the Friends of the Botanical Garden.
