Course Outline:
Comprehensive Training for Law Enforcement and Tactical Units
Day 1: Pistol Handling
• Familiarisation with Glock 17/19 pistols: Participants will get to know the specifications, handling, and operational capabilities of these pistols.
• Holster Use: Training will cover both covert and overt holsters.
• Magazine Changes: Efficient techniques for quick and smooth magazine changes.
• Movement: Tactical movement with pistols.
• Flashlight Techniques: Proper use of flashlights in low-light situations.
• Introduction to Handcuffing and Police Equipment: Basic techniques and usage of standard police equipment.
• Participants can attend in their own clothes or borrow FBI jackets.
Day 2: Rifle Handling
• Familiarisation with M4/HK416 platforms: Introduction to popular rifle platforms used in tactical operations.
• Handling and Movement: Proper techniques for handling and manoeuvring with rifles.
• Magazine Change Drills:.
• Transitioning to Sidearm:
• Uniforms will be provided, including helmet, molle belt, and plate carrier (option for full-weight kit).
Day 3: Kalashnikov Handling
• Russian Manual of Arms: Learn the traditional Russian techniques for handling the Kalashnikov.
• Fancy Magazine Changes: Advanced techniques for fast and effective magazine changes.
• Field Stripping: Disassembly and reassembly of the Kalashnikov.
• Training will be conducted with deactivated real weapons, as they best withstand rigorous training conditions.
• Uniforms will be provided, including AK chest harness and molle belt.
Day 4: Tactical Shotgun
• Different Types of Shotguns: Introduction to pump-action, semi-automatic, breaching, and traditional sport shotguns.
• Loading and Readiness: Techniques to keep shotguns loaded and ready for action.
• An intensive day of hands-on training.
• Uniforms will be provided, including helmet, molle belt, and plate carrier (option for full-weight kit).
Day 5: Breaching
• Kinetic and Shotgun Breaching: Techniques for forced entry using kinetic tools and shotguns.
• Room Entry and Clearing: Methods for entering and clearing multiple rooms.
• Use of Simulated Flashbangs: Safe use of flashbangs in training scenarios.
• Teamwork: Emphasis on working cohesively as a unit.
• Uniforms will be provided, including helmet, molle belt, and plate carrier (option for full-weight kit).
Day 6: SWAT
• Team Tactics: Advanced team-based tactical operations.
• Corridor Work and Multiple Room Clearance: Techniques for navigating and clearing complex environments.
• Tactical Movement with Shields: Coordinated movement using protective shields.
• Gas Masks: Proper use and integration of gas masks in tactical scenarios.
• Uniforms will be provided, including helmet, molle belt, and plate carrier (option for full-weight kit).
Parts of the course involve full kit, with the option for full-weight plate carrier armour and helmet. Weapons used will include training weapons, film replicas, and deactivated live weapons.
The training location is in Oslo, easily accessible by mainline public transport. Information on the cost of the course will be released upon opening registration.
Students Need to bring the following:
Indoor shoes, preferably black, or boots that have been cleaned and not worn outside the location during the course.
Day 1: own clothes: T shirt, Light jacket, loose hoodie, trousers with a good belt, and enough space to put a holster inside your trousers.
Days 2-6 will be in uniform, so students need black trainers or clean boots.
