Beyond Borders: Queer Palestinians visiting Oslo
-Challenging occupation and colonial violence through lived experience
Join us for a rare and urgent conversation with queer Palestinians visiting from Palestine.
They will speak about living under military occupation, resisting colonial violence, and surviving as queer people in a context where freedom is systematically denied. The panel will also expose pinkwashing – Israel’s strategy of promoting a "progressive" LGBTQ image to mask apartheid, genocide and occupation – and why global queer solidarity must stand firmly against it.
This is not just a discussion about queer rights, but about liberation, decolonization, and the fight against systems of oppression that connect us all.
📍 Location: Salam, Grønland 12, Oslo
The conversation will be in English.
