Give your youngster a taste of Australian culture and the chance to learn some footy skills at a special Oslo Crows Auskick session on Saturday 9 August.
Coaches from the Crows will lead fun footy drills teaching basics like kicking, marking and handballing.
Oslo Crows will supply footies and equipment. Children only need to wear suitable clothing – their favourite footy jumper or fotballtrøye, sport shorts and runners or football boots. The clinic will be run in Norwegian (to the best of coaches ability).
After Auskick, the Oslo Crows and Eagles will face off for round three of the AFL Norway season. Matches are a social affair, with family, friends and supporters watching with a picnic on the boundary line.
All Auskickers are welcome to stay for the match, and any parents can also pull on a jumper to play. The match will be followed by more social activities.
If children enjoy the Auskick event and would like to continue, the Oslo Crows would appreciate willing parents to volunteer to run future sessions.
