Find out how to spiritually capitalize off the new Autumnal season. Learn basic grounding and balancing techniques from a daily ceremonial magician. Join Durham College Student Uthman Ken Badat From the Campus Druid Network as he aims to teach a class on basic ceremonial magic practices to ground oneself and find inner balance.
In this class we will be learning the Qabalistic Cross and the Middle Pillar ritual, two meditational grounding practices rooted in the HOGD (Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn) tradition that can be experienced in it's original Hebrew form plus Gaelic, Greek, Shamanistic and Kemetic (Egyptian) renditions for alternative and diverse usage.
The aim of the class is to teach individuals that magic isn't a pointy hat and a cauldron all the time. Ceremonial Magic can be very psychological and modern depending on the will, intention and application of the user.
Uthman's main goal is to articulate the psychological significance of practicing ceremonial magic, giving it a practical outlook rather than a superstitious traditional experience.
