The Last Five Years is a musical written by Jason Robert Brown. It premiered at Chicago's Northlight Theatre in 2001 and was then produced Off-Broadway in March 2002.
The story explores a five-year relationship between Jamie Wellerstein, a rising novelist, and Cathy Hiatt,[1] a struggling actress. The show uses a form of storytelling in which Jamie's story is told in chronological order (starting just after the couple have first met) and Cathy's story is told in reverse chronological order (beginning the show at the end of the marriage). The characters do not directly interact except for a wedding song in the middle as their timelines intersect.
This immersive dinner theatre production will feature 2 of our extremely talented artists who have graced the stage for Front and Centre in the past. Cathy will be portrayed by Olivia Williams and Jamie will be played by Benjamin Coudriet. This show does contain adult themes and is recommended for audience members 13 and older.
Dinner will begin at 6:00pm and will be catered by Adler's Market. The menu will include: roast beef, stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes, corn, tossed salad, fruit salad, dinner roll with butter, water, lemonade, and iced tea.
The musical performance will begin at 7:00pm and last until approximately 8:30pm.
Tickets are by reservation only and include the dinner and performance for $30.00. There are ONLY 100 tickets being sold for each performance! Don't miss out on this experience - order your tickets ASAP!! Ticket reservations can be made here:
