About The Chef!
Oroville’s very own Trevor Smith! Trever and his wife, Lucky, own Big Reds BBQ and Unicone Ice Cream here in Oroville. He has been cooking in various restaurants in the Sacramento area for nearly 20 years, including Bistro La Petite France, Alexander’s Horseshoe Bar Grill, and the Chef’s Table, specializing in classical French Cuisine. He is now involved in Smoked BBQ for the fun of it. Raised as a son of Oroville he made his return to live here full-time in 2018 and cares deeply about the local community and helping Butte County flourish.

Appetizers: Bouchées à la Lyonnaise: Caramelized Onion and Cheese Tartlets & Salata De Vinete Crostini: Romanian Vinete on a toasted locally sourced baguette
Entrees:
Fall Salad: Greens with roasted butternut squash, apples, and pomegranate feta cheese, toasted pepitas, and apple cider vinaigrette
Pumpkin Gnocchi (Vegetarian): Handmade pumpkin gnocchis in a Sage Brown Butter sauce drizzled with locally sourced oils
Coq au Vin: Classic rustic French dish of chicken braised in wine with aromatic vegetables and herbs served with locally made baguette crostini and parsnip puree
Steak Diane: Tender beef steak medallions cooked in a brandy-infused brown sauce served over horseradish cream mashed potatoes & roasted tri-color carrots.
Dessert: Chocolate pomegranate cake with raspberry buttercream
