Dr Giannis Karagiannakis is the adjunct lecturer in National & Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), visiting professor in University of Malta and Post-doc researcher of the Psychological Sciences Research Institute of Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium. His His interest is in the field of Mathematical Learning Difficulties (MLD): exploring cognitive roots of MLD, and developing scientifically informed effective remedial interventions for students 8-18 years old. . He is the scientific supervisor of Maths section of Eureka Leuven school in Belgium. In addition he is the CEO of the Hellenic Dyslexia Association and board director of the European Dyslexia Association (EDA).

Parking is free and available at car park C which is a 10 minute walk from the venue, which is Faculty of Health, Social Care & Medicine (FHSCM) delegates just need to place a printout of their event ticket in the window screen to show participation in the event for parking.
Hotels and accomodation can be found on www.booking.com and the university is equidistant from Manchester and Liverpool airports. The nearest train station is Ormkirk and around £4 for an Uber to the University.
