this art class is not your run of the mill follow an instructor class:
Painting with reptiles is a freedom of expression class where young artists can create whatever calls to them, using their live reptile buddy as inspiration! students can choose to paint a portrait of their reptile, or maybe a dinosaur using their buddy's colors? or even a pokemon or whatever they feel they want to create!
scientists have using modern day animals as gueses for extinct animals features for centuries, and humans have been depicting animals in art since the dawn of human kind! learn a little bit about how art is important to sciences while exploring your own creativity!
Each student gets to choose from a handfull of well behaved snakes or geckos to sit with them and be their model and an 11 x 14 canvas. All materials are supplied, paintbrushes, smocks, easels, paint pallets, etc. no clean up nessessary, just come and create and leave with memories and a painting!
For artists that need a little extra help, i can provide a traced image (reptile, dinosaur, pokemon, etc) on the canvas in pencil for an additional $5, but requests need to be made 24 hrs before the class so i can prep the canvas.
Class lasts for approx 2 hrs, starts at 11am
Painting classes are $30 a student, although bundle deals are available for multiple class bookings and families with multiple children. (custom dates available upon request! up to 6 kids per class)

Classes are meant to be a one time, fun, introductory type class to the varying nature sciences: herptology, paleontology, ecosystems, evolution and more. #Fossilandfang classes are designed to be fun engaging activities for homeschool and group studies alike. think of them as a miniture field trip, offering unique in-depth experiences, that is tailored to your childs individual learning needs. K-12 have all enjoyed the courses and many have come back to do it all again!
