Here we go.....
They said I was crazy. (they were right) They said it couldn't be done. (they were wrong). It's a ride like no other you've been on. All are welcome to participate. Cause, with a little help from my friends. We got this thing out together.
We will start our day with a brief memorial. For our loved ones that would surely have been with us on this day. If you want to participate, and you have a photo of your loved one. Please reach out, and we will be sure to get that taken care of for you.
We will be going to four different locations after the memorial. First stop, The other place, to hear The Vikings of Holly Hill. Next, we will be hanging out with Bam, Christian Boehm. At the roof top bar, at Rock Bottom restaurant. Where they will have a special menu and I believe a drink special, for us. From there, we will head to the Hideout bar, for an awesome time with, Black Sheep rocking the stage. When we're all rocked out there. We will head to the final stop. Dog House, where they have so generously provided us with, free BBQ and entertainment, with Big Engine.
All entertainment has either volunteered their time and talent. Or been provided for by sponsorship. The goal of this event, is to help a local single mom.
Christine Cusack is a hairdresser here in Daytona Beach. She has special needs children, That she is the sole provider for. About a year ago. Christine was diagnosed with a brain tumor. By the grace of all that is good. This tumor was removable and found to be non cancerous. unfortunately, there were complications during surgery. leaving Christine with a significant loss of overall vision. With concern for one eye in particular. This has extended her inability to work .
Christine is a hard working mom.. She's managed to raise her children in her family home, ask their lives. Now, that home is at risk. With that, comes so many greater losses to her family.
I hope I can count on everyone reading this, to participate in this event. We will be at each stop for one hour of live music. We will have basket raffles at each stop. basket delivery will be available to all winners. However, you have to be present to win.
We are doing our best to include as many of our fallen as possible in the memorial. There is a short window to get photos into the actual memorial. they need to be printed 4x6. If you don't make the cut off. You are welcome to bring a photo the day of and place it with the memorial.
