3 Drivers – 1 Car – 1 Hour in the Dark

Please join us for our first annual 4 Hours of Mini-Z endurance race!
April 26th, 2025, Practice at 10:30 AM Racing 1 PM
Pre-Registration is required in store or over the phone, last day to register is May 1st

Cost:
50$ per racer (Must register a team of 3 drivers)
5$ to spectate ( Free if you marshal)
Location: Jesus Is Lord Church, 2026 Lanthier Dr, Orleans
Race Format:
4 Hour endurance race
Highest number of laps completed wins
3 drivers per team first 3 hours will have a mandatory driver swap every half hour with each driver completing 1 hour of driving
To simulate real Le Mans conditions 1 hour of driving will be done in the dark, body must have lights installed & working
Pit stops allowed to change tires, change batteries & complete repairs

Kyosho branded parts only
1 car and spare chassis for parts only
2 bodies (1 main one with lights installed 1 for backup)
1.2v 750mah or 800mah nimh batteries only, max 12 per team
16 tires only 2 sets of rims (1 on car, 1 for tire change)
All cars, tools & parts must be in a clear container to enter the pit area (provided at the event)
Box Stock Class Rules:
Approved Chassis: MR03 or MR04.
Body: Kyosho AutoScale or Kyosho White bodies. Must be assembled with all pieces, no lexan windows/roof. Body reinforcement is permitted. Clearance issues may be addressed, front splitters may be rounded, but no performance/aero modifications allowed. 3D printed wing replacements allowed but must match original.
Electronics: Kyosho Mini-Z RTR electronics package. Radio changes allowed.
Motor: Kyosho Stock Mabuchi 130 white end bell.
Gearing Limit: Max gearing of 9t pinion for 2wd.
Differential: Kit plastic gear differentials with steel shaft.
Battery: 4xAAA NiMH batteries.
Wheels: Mini-Z type wheels, plastic only. Front: 8.5 x 20mm max. Rear: 11 x 20mm max. Must fit inside body.
Tires: Kyosho Spec Rubber tires. No silicone or tire sauces. Cleaning with 70% alcohol allowed.
Performance/Durability Option Parts: Kingpin Flip, bearings, T-plates, wheel nuts, front springs, aluminum front knuckles 0°, aluminum steering rod 0°, aluminum upper brace.
