This month, we’ll explore the challenges and strength found in parenting through illness and being an adult child of a parent with illness.Our two incredible panelists will share powerful personal experiences and insights to inspire, encourage, and equip you on your journey.

Yanairi “Yari” Santamaria is the founder and CEO of Embrace-Release Coaching and a BRCA-positive previvor, lupus and fibromyalgia warrior, and founder of Embrace Release. Choosing preventative surgeries—including a double mastectomy and hysterectomy—she reduced her breast and ovarian cancer risk to just 1%. Walking through early menopause while raising two young children, Yari turned her journey into a movement of faith, resilience, and empowerment to help women embrace what God gives and release what they cannot control.

Sharon Almeida serves as Chief Operating Officer at AdventHealth Lake Nona, who’s leadership is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and a commitment to operational readiness as AdventHealth Lake Nona prepares to open in November 2026. A trained nurse with almost 2 decades of leadership experience, Sharon brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and operational excellence. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arizona State University and a Master of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in leadership. Sharon is passionate about advancing whole-person care—addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being—and is deeply aligned with AdventHealth’s mission as a faith-based organization.

Mom Pros Orlando is a monthly collaborative parenting event for moms to be through grandmas who continue to be! Designed for working moms seeking to develop meaningful relationships with other moms by learning, supporting, and growing with one another on this journey of parenthood! Each month will host a new topic related to parenting as a working professional and will be facilitated by a Licensed Mental Health Therapist with over 20 years of experience in mental health.
