The Tour De France is officially underway and the ladies are lined up to race a portion of the course at the end of the month. Please join me for a ladies group ride and a celebratory tour watch party at smoking donuts.
Here is the ride plan. We will meet at smoke and donuts beginning at 730 am, wheels on the ground ready to leave at 8 am. We will ride 30 miles at a casual pace (rolling speed of 15 to 19 mph, depending on trail traffic, winds ecr) on the Cady Way trail to Eagles circle in Casselberry. There will be two optional sprint zones along the way. One over the Cady way bridge as a "queen of the mountain" and the other will be a longer zone at Eagles circle. We will do a slow roll after each spot so that everyone has a chance to catch up and regroup. There will be a refueling opportunity at a convenience store at Eagle's Circle.
For the watch party, Smoke and Donuts is graciously hosting! They have a TV for us to watch the Tour Le Femme. They also have an array of yummy savory and sweet foods to purchase. As well one of the best Bar tenders/ barista to mix up whatever post ride beverage you want. For purchase of course. I will supply some free swag (first come, first serve). If you
Notes about parking. As many of you know the Milk District has limited parking space. Smoke and donuts is no exception to that. If you can please pick from a few options. One, festival bay. It's a park right near Smoke and Donuts. Another option is at Total Wine. They are adjacent from S.D. Last but not least, our parking lot. Out of courtesy for our neighbors Bad Ass Sandwich's, please do not park on their side of the parking lot. Oh, whatever you do, do not, I repeat, do not park at the JMC Construction parking lot behind us. They will tow. Another No No parking spot is 7 bites. They don't mind parking during off hours but not during.
