Join expert teacher Judy Pickett for a fun, casual, and relaxed group instruction suitable for any age. Cyanotype is an alternative photography method that uses the light of the sun to develop a blue and white image.

Sunprint Play is designed to be a fun play time for you and your child or children. Each family will design and develop cyanotype prints in the beautiful Florida sunshine. You will leave the event with lovely keepsake prints suitable for framing,

Judy is a local artist who combines cyanotype printmaking with encaustic painting. As a former teacher, Judy loves to teach others about her unique medium. “When I was introduced to the alternative photography method, known as cyanotype, I was hooked! Cyanotype uses photosensitive paper to develop an image without a camera. It creates beautiful blue and white images by laying an object or a negative onto the paper and exposing it in the sun. It's magic! “

The class will include:

• Approximate 60 mins of creating beautiful botanical prints
• All supplies
• Instructor will provide many options of items to create with.

Level: Beginner

Experience needed: None

Class size is limited to 6 adults with one to two children.

$40 for adult and one child, $20 for additional child.

Registration includes admission to the beautiful gardens before or after class.

Participants must withdraw from classes at least 5 days prior to the start of class in order to receive a full refund or credit. If we must cancel a class, we will make every effort to inform you prior to the class time, and you will receive a full refund or credit.
