Rudy De Anda with support from Fast Preacher

With family roots in Mexico and a sun-drenched upbringing in California, singer-songwriter Rudy de Anda’s music is a love letter to the history of rock ‘n roll seen through his multicultural lens. Shaped by the soundtrack of his childhood, his influences include bossa nova, ballads, rock and traditional Mexican music. The diverse soundtrack of his heritage and the angst of the punk bands he embraced as a teenager shaped his unique, genre-defying sound. “I write my own history; I don’t want to be defined by any one scene,” Rudy proclaims about his personal journey.

Fast Preacher
What started as an outlet for scratch demos has since become the on-stage force known as Fast Preacher—an Orlando, Florida-based band fronted by multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Daniel Hanson (Former member of the illustrious indie soul group, Fat Night). Thunderous, raw and groovy, Fast Preacher’s sound lives at the crossroads of classic rock and something unshakingly soul-deep. With catchy, power-packed songs, the project explores psychedelic, soul, punk, jazz and pop influences, with a sound that has been compared to artists like Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Steely Dan.
